I acknowledged the series’ supporters among reviewers and viewers at the beginning of the post. But if you’ve seen the show, you know that two of the key elements that made Welcome to Chippendales the show it was would be absent from any portion of a second season.
First, we are aware that Somen Banerjee committed himself just hours before being sentenced. Then, of course, we discovered that he did so because, if he passed away before serving his sentence, Irene (his ex-wife and daughter’s mother) would inherit the entire sum of money instead of the FBI, who had been charged with the crimes in Rico’s name. And in episode 7, we witnessed the shooting and death of Nick De Noia. Therefore, neither Murray Bartlett nor Kumail Nanjiani would be playing these parts. mostly because they used Chippendales to explore the complete score of their run.
They might only consider what comes after these two. However, I’m not sure if that will generate enough interest for a series that people would watch. But I might soon witness a multi-part documentary about this incident.
