There are plenty of reality TV programmes out there, but one consistently makes people chuckle year after year. The antics of pals Sal Vulcano, James Murray, Brian Quinn, and Joe Gatto as they challenge one another to participate in progressively outrageous pranks that range from somewhat uncomfortable to outright humiliating have been the focus of the comedy series “Impractical Jokers” for nine seasons. The idea was refined on the hidden camera show, which featured a prank battle planned by four real-life friends who genuinely enjoyed making each other laugh.
The TruTV series grew from a low-budget cable programme to a worldwide phenomenon that produced a feature-length movie. Viewers can anticipate another ten years of amusing antics with their favourite Staten Island boys thanks to the recent announcement that the show has been renewed for a tenth season (via Deadline). Unfortunately, one of those individuals won’t be appearing in upcoming episodes of the popular programme. While we are disappointed by the news that Joe Gatto won’t be returning to “Impractical Jokers,” we entirely understand his decision.
Joe Gatto is leaving to focus on his family
Joe Gatto declared that he “will no longer be connected with Impractical Jokers” in a post on his Instagram. He has made the decision to leave the show due to changes in his personal life. He specifically states that because he and his wife Bessy are no longer together, he “has to focus on [being] the best] father and co-parent to [their] amazing kids.” A six-year-old and a four-year-old are the couple’s children.
