Today’s Wordle Answer (April 30th #315)

The Wordle solution for April 30th is LARVA.

A larva is an insect’s juvenile form and is unquestionably not a word that is frequently used. We chose ROAST as our first Wordle word. This gave two letters, “R” and “A,” that were put in the wrong places. Our second guess was CAGER, which displayed the ‘R’ in a different wrong location while putting the ‘A’ in the right place. Our third guess, MARRY, put the “R” in the right spot and provided us with a lot more incorrect letters. The fourth guess was far more time-consuming. After a while of staring at the computer, we tried PARDI, an old-fashioned word for indeed and an absolute guess that we were shocked was a real word. This merely resulted in additional misspelt letters. Finally, using LARVA, we made the correct prediction in the fifth guess.
