Yellowjackets is the Second-Most Streamed Series in Showtime History
The show’s debut season was highly praised by critics and enjoyed by viewers alike. That the show gets a 100% rating on Rotten Tomatoes is an accomplishment in and of itself.
According to the show’s official synopsis, “Yellowjackets” is the story of a group of incredibly talented high school soccer players who end up being the unlucky survivors of a plane crash in the middle of a remote northern wilderness. It is equal parts survival epic, psychological horror story, and coming-of-age drama.
It goes on to say that the series “chronicles their decline from a complex but thriving team to savage clans, while also tracing the lives they’ve tried to patch back together nearly 25 years later, illustrating that the past is never really done and what began out in the woods is far from over.”
The Star Cast will Reprise their Roles in Season 2
