They predicted he wouldn’t make it, but he ended up with chronic brain damage from a disease known as traumatic brain injury (TBI), which rendered him half blind.

Zack received his parents’ support despite the fact that he is not completely blind because he was the first resident of Treasure House and played a significant part in its founding.
