The incident happened on June 20th as Max was ready to perform her final song of the show. The Ghost singer is shown being slapped on the face in a live clip as she flinches and grabs her eye. The security guards then took the attacker away right away.

However, Max made the decision to go on with the show and even greeted her audience after the performance. She then opened up about the incident on Twitter and disclosed that she had received an inside-eye scrape.

The inside of my eye was scratched by his strong slap to me. He won’t ever attend another performance. I want to thank the LA crowd for being amazing tonight. The songwriter, age 29, wrote.

Eye Witnesses Share Details of the Incident

A few concertgoers have discussed the specifics of what happened on stage. Joel Rangel, who travelled from Arizona to see the performance, said, “She was ending the show with her song The Motto and a fan just ran and jumped on the left side of the stage.”

“Some of the lights dropped to the floor as he rushed onto the stage, and he ran for Ava holding out his arms as if he were going to give her a hug. However, as the guards rushed to grab him, she turned around and was struck in the face by his extended arm. Joel added that Max almost chose not to hold the meet and greet but ultimately did.

He said, “It was sad having to talk to her in that way because she had to wear sunglasses and she was confused and dazed.” The security guy practically threw him down the stairs after being tackled by another audience member, Cory Larrabee, who also spoke at the event. Wild!!! It happened really quickly.
