The Upcoming Season is Being Called the Most Unexpected One Yet
It’s being said that the upcoming season will be the most unexpected one. However, while announcing the season, Netflix promised that each episode would contain a surprise for the audience. According to Brooker, who was speaking about the season, “I’ve always felt that Black Mirror should feature stories that are entirely distinct from one another, and keep surprising people — and myself — or else what’s the point?”
“It should be a series that is difficult to categorise and can continuously reinvent itself. I intentionally flipped some of my own fundamental presumptions about what to expect when I started this season, in part as a challenge and in part to keep things interesting for both me and the audience.
The creator said, “As a result, this time, among some of the more well-known Black Mirror cliches, we’ve also got a few new features, including those I’ve previously sworn blind the show would never do.
Netflix Revealed the Star Cast for the Season
Salma Hayek Pinault, Aaron Paul from Breaking Bad, Annie Murphy from Schitt’s Creek, Kate Mara from Call Jane, Josh Hartnett from Penny Dreadful, Zazie Beetz from The Joker, Anjana Vasan from We Are Lady Parts, and Paapa Essiedu from I May Destroy You are just a few of the well-known actors who will appear in Black Mirror season 6.
The cast also features Daniel Portman, Monica Dolan, Myha’la Herrold, Danny Ramirez, Himesh Patel, Rob Delaney, Auden Thornton, Ben Barnes, John Hannah, Michael Cera, Clara Rugaard, Rory Culkin, and Michael Cera.
“Bringing it all to life we’ve got an incredible roster of disgustingly skillful, smart directors working with a cast of actors so talented they frankly have no right to exist,” Brooker remarked on introducing the cast.
