Bobby Ray Dick’s funeral service was held at 12:00 p.m. on Thursday, January 5, 2023, at the Hodapp Funeral Home, 6410 Cincinnati Dayton Rd., Liberty Twp., Ohio 45044.
The funeral was held in private. The family asks that memorial contributions instead of flowers be directed to Christ Hospital, 2123 Auburn Ave, Suite 528, Cincinnati, OH 45219.
On January 1, 2023, Bobby Ray Dick, 79, passed away. He was survived by his devoted wife of 56 years, Dona Kay Dick.
He was a devoted grandfather of Robert (Mackenzie) Behanan, Shelby Haberthier, Bryce Haberthier, Katelyn Haberthier, Nathan Haberthier, and Cameron Haberthier. He was the beloved father of Kelli (Bill), Kerri, and Korri Haberthier.
He was also a beloved great-grandfather to Scarlett Behanan and Josilynn Scott.
Bob was born in Elmwood, Ohio, on September 4, 1943. His family eventually relocated to Blue Ash, where he attended Sycamore High School and graduated in 1962.
He played football, basketball, and baseball in high school and was well known as “Moby.”
Following graduation, he enlisted in the US Navy in June 1964, where he worked as the Commander and Chief’s secretary until his honourable discharge in June 1967.
Robert spent 36 years working in sourcing and purchasing at General Electric. In addition to fishing, grilling, gardening, and reading, he was a devoted sports fan.
Bob had the best sense of humour and was recognised for his clever one-liners despite his cautious and reserved manner.
