Milton, a town southwest of Toronto, is tucked away adjacent to Mississauga and epitomises the perfect fusion of urban convenience and scenic beauty. With its quaint centre decked out in holiday decorations and ancient buildings radiating seasonal warmth, this burgeoning town provides a picturesque backdrop for making endearing Christmas movies. The peaceful town’s residents discovered that between October 4 and October 13, a portion of Milton’s Main Street—from James to Martin Street—was closed off for “Christmas with a Kiss” filming. The film’s skilled production team set the stage for the Christmas funfair scenes by transforming a portion of downtown Milton into a jolly winter wonderland. The small parking lot between Chudleigh Blossom Café and Knox Presbyterian Church had been roped off and creatively transformed into the pretend Christmas celebration. The redesigned set included fake snow and wackily decorated stores specifically designed for the Christmas film. Whenever the members of our love triangle are out taking in the town’s celebrations, the set can be seen in several of the movie’s scenes.
