Who Are the Celebrity Judges on Netflix’s CGI Dance Competiton, ‘Dance Monsters’

Popular reality TV programs like The Voice and The Masked Singer helped to usher in a new era of talent contests. The finest one so far might be Dance Monsters.

Ashley Roberts, a former member of the Pussycat Dolls, hosted the Netflix series’ debut on Friday, December 16. But who sits on Dance Monsters’ judging panel? Introducing Lele Pons, Ashley Bango, and Ne-Yo! What we do know about them is as follows:

Ne-Yo

Grammy Award-winning musician Ne-Yo is one of the Dance Monsters panel’s exceptionally competent judges. He has previously written songs for A-list performers like Leona Lewis, Rihanna, and Beyonce. Ne-Yo has worked on television in addition to his music career.

In addition to making cameos on programs like CSI: NY, The X Factor, and America’s Got Talent, he previously joined the Badger cast of The Masked Singer UK for the 2020–2021 season. Alongside Keri Hilson, the Because of You singer also appears in the Hip Hop Family Christmas series on VH1.

From 2009 through 2013, Ne-Yo was wed to Monyetta Shaw, the mother of his two eldest children. He has three children with his current spouse, model Crystal Renay Williams, after their marriage ended.

It’s no mistake that Ashley B. from Dance Monsters seems familar. Ashley, a native of Leytonstone, London, is one of Funso Banjo, a British heavyweight boxer,’s three children.

The choreographer has participated in other reality TV competition programs before Dance Monsters. He and the street dancing troupe Diversity won Season 3 of Britain’s Got Talent in 2009.

Later on, he spent five seasons as the host of Sky1’s Got to Dance (formerly known as Just Dance). On ITV’s Dance Dance Dance and Dancing on Ice, Ashley has also served as a judge.

The dancer and Francesca Banjo, his wife of seven years, have two children together.

Lele Pons

Ask Lele, a professional digital producer, musician, and actress, how to cut a rug; she has over 17 million followers on social media. The 26-year-old judge on the Dance Monsters panel may be the youngest, but she has experience in the spotlight.

The now-defunct video site Vine is where the Venezuelan-American entertainer first found success. Lele has since made appearances in videos with J. Balvin, Anitta, and Camila Cabello.

She has been on MTV’s Scream and Netflix’s Cooking with Paris, among other television programs. The Secret Life of Lele Pons, a self-produced 2020 docuseries on YouTube, provides viewers with further information on the artist.

What’s the prize on Netflix’s ‘Dance Monsters’?

Five outstanding dancers will compete for a cash reward of $250,000 in the recently announced Netflix original series, but they won’t be competing as themselves. Instead, each applicant will have to dazzle the audience while wearing some extremely adorable CGI avatars.

Netflix now has Dance Monsters accessible for streaming.
