One of the most anticipated films of the year is Fast X. One of the most popular action franchises in the world, Fast & Furious, will have a two-part ending, with this movie serving as the first half.
Dominic Toretto will strive to defend his family from Dante Reyes, who is seeking retribution for the death of his father, drug lord Hernan Reyes, in the film, a direct sequel to 2021’s F9. Dante Reyes is seeking revenge. Fast X will shortly be released in theatres. What about streaming, though? When and where will the movie be streamable? Find out by reading on.
Fast X Streaming Release Date
On Friday, May 19, Fast X debuts in theatres all around the world. The movie, however, will only be shown in theatres and won’t be simultaneously accessible on any streaming service.
Fast X is scheduled to be made available for streaming on Peacock after its theatrical run. With Peacock, Universal has an agreement in place to stream its pictures there following their theatrical debuts. The previous films arrived on Peacock roughly six or seven weeks after its theatrical debut.
If the same pattern continues, Fast X will be streamable in the start of July 2023. Additionally, Universal has a deal with Amazon Prime Video that allows them to broadcast the movies there around four months after their Peacock debut. So in November 2023, Fast X might be accessible on Prime Video.
The Previous Fast & Furious Films are Available on Different Platforms
Only two Fast & Furious films, and those on various platforms, are now streaming. Furious 7 is available on Peacock, whilst Furious 9 is streaming on HBO Max.
The remaining films in the series aren’t available on streaming services; instead, they may only be bought on-demand or through pay-cable channel apps like truTV and TNT. On the other hand, Fast & Furious Presents: Hobbs & Shaw and 2 Fast 2 Furious were available on HBO Max two years ago.
Fast X is the Penultimate Film in the Franchise
With a two-part finale, the Fast & Furious franchise will come to an end. The eleventh and last movie is presently under production and is scheduled for release in 2019. With regard to Fast X, it says that “Over many missions and against impossible odds, Dom Toretto and his family have outsmarted and outdriven every foe in their path.”
“They now have to deal with the deadliest foe they’ve ever encountered. A terrifying menace driven by retaliation emerges from the past to devastate Dom’s world and everyone and everything he loves.
The film stars Vin Diesel as Dominic Toretto, Michelle Rodriguez as Letty Ortiz, Tyrese Gibson as Roman Pearce, Chris “Ludacris” Bridges as Tej Parker, Jason Momoa as Dante Reyes, Nathalie Emmanuel as Ramsey, Jordana Brewster as Mia Toretto, John Cena as Jakob Toretto, Jason Statham as Deckard Shaw, Sung Kang as Han Lue and Alan Ritchson as Agent Aimes.
