Ginny & Georgia Cast & Characters Who Plays Who?

How well do you know the lead actors and the supporting cast of Ginny & Georgia, which has been renewed for a second season, Antonia Gentry and Brianne Howey? The 10-part Netflix series centres on a single woman who relocates with her two kids from Texas to Massachusetts. Ginny, 16, is forced to make some difficult choices as Georgia’s troubled history impacts the family’s well-being.

The titular protagonists of Ginny & Georgia season 1 settle in well to Wellsbury, Massachusetts. Ginny makes an excellent impression on the mayor, Paul Randolph, and she also gets a date with Hunter, a classmate. The teen girl also challenges the English syllabus, which is observed by a group of females known as “MAN” (Maxine-Abby-Norah). Soon later, MAN turns into MANG, and while dating Mayor Randolph, Georgia becomes the talk of the town. When Ginny’s wandering father Zion appears, the plot significantly deepens.

Ginny & Georgia, created by Sarah Lampert, has a lot of references to popular culture and music in its first season. The Netflix TV series also features moving social commentary about power and race, which enables the actors to display more nuance. Here is how to identify the major and supporting cast members of Ginny & Georgia season 1.

Antonia Gentry As Ginny

Ginny, a teenage girl played by Antonia Gentry, relocates with her mother and brother from Texas to Massachusetts. Throughout Ginny & Georgia, Ginny delivers voiceover narration. She comes to the conclusion that she might be becoming too much like her mother. In Candy Jar and Driver’s Ed: Tales from the Street, Gentry played Jasmine and Sara, respectively. She most recently played Wendy in season one of Raising Dion.

Brianne Howey As Georgia

In Ginny & Georgia, Brianne Howey co-stars as Georgia, a character with a complicated past who makes every effort to survive. Recently, she played Alison B. as Batwoman and Reagan in the Hulu streaming film Dollface.

Felix Mallard As Marcus

She also made an appearance in October Faction as Madison St. Claire.

Everything We Know About Ginny & Georgia Season 2, Including Who’s Returning

It has been confirmed that Ginny & Georgia will return for a second season as of April 19th, 2021. However, season 2 has not yet been given a specific release date. The COVID-19 epidemic caused multiple delays in the filming process, pushing the official release date back to either late 2022 or perhaps in 2023. The plot of the upcoming episode hasn’t been revealed, but based on how the first season of the Netflix series concluded, the protagonists are going to some fascinating new locations. Zion, in particular, will have a bigger role because that’s who Ginny is going to see as she packs her bag and departs. The season will also delve deeper into the politician Mayor Paul, who might not be as harmless as he first appears. The return of Austin’s father is also hinted to in Season 1. The reason Austin hasn’t been attending school lately will ultimately be revealed on the episode, and it might include his dad.

For Ginny & Georgia season 2, the entire ensemble will be back, and Gil, Austin’s father, will be a welcome newcomer. Aaron Ashmore, who also starred in Locke and Key, will play Gil. No further cast members have been revealed, but that hasn’t stopped new characters from showing up in Ginny & Georgia season 2’s drama.
