Here is all the information you require if you’re wondering what happened to Ahmed and Hinata in “Invasion”! Spoilers follow!

How Did Ahmed Die?

One of the main characters in the first season of the show is Ahmed “Manny” Malik. Ahmed is portrayed by actor Firas Nassar (a.k.a. “Fauda”). He is a wealth management professional who immigrated from Syria. Luke and Sarah, the couple’s two children, are born to Ahmed and Aneesha Malik. Aneesha learns that Ahmed is having an affair with Amanda in the first season, though. Although Ahmed wants to leave Aneesha, the alien invasion forces them to stay together. With their kids in tow, Ahmed and Aneesha are compelled to flee the city and look for sanctuary.

The Malik family eventually finds refuge with the Mitchell family, but hostile aliens invade the home. Despite suffering severe injuries during the battle with the aliens, Ahmed lives. The Malik family is led to the Pentagon after the army learns that the alien claw that Luke is carrying can be utilised as a weapon to combat the aliens. The Maliks flee for their lives after the caravan is ambushed, but the aliens are after them. Ahmed stays behind as a result to create a diversion so that his family can live. In the end, Ahmed gives his life to save his family and, with his last breath, atones for his previous transgressions.

How Did Hinata Die?

Invasion’s first season introduces Hinata Murai, who is played by Japanese actress Rinko Kikuchi (‘Tokyo Vice’). In Japan, Hinata is well-known and revered as a national hero. She is secretly dating Mitsuki Yamato, a communications specialist who works for the Japanese Space Agency, towards the beginning of season 1. On a one-year mission to the International Space Station, Hinata is one of three astronauts. As a result, Hinata tries to depart from Mitsuki without giving her a personal farewell. However, when Mitsuki is requested to repair the communications on the spaceship, Hinata and Mitsuki are forced to interact.

Despite the successful launch of the spaceship, it is ruptured in space, most likely as a result of the aliens assaulting the planet. However, Mitsuki thinks Hinata might still be alive and looks into the shuttle launch for the International Space Station. In the process, Mitsuki hears Hinata’s voice and manages to make contact with the alien mothership. The aliens have synthesised Hinata’s voice to communicate with humans; eventually, it is discovered that she is not truly on the mothership. In actuality, Hinata passed away soon after the launch, and the aliens developed a mechanism of human communication using her dead body. However, Hinata continues to serve humanity because it is thanks to her voice that the military is able to track the mothership’s coordinates and fire atomic missiles at it, destroying it.
