For the first time, Lauren Sanchez is discussing her connection with Jeff Bezos, and based on her own words, this is the tale of a lovely lady.
The former newsreader shared several details about their relationship with the Wall Street Journal on Saturday. She even likens her connection with JB to that of the Brady Bunch. She has three children of her own, he has four, and they are a fairly blended family.
Meet Lauren Sánchez, one half of one of the most philanthropic couples in the world. “Living with Jeff [Bezos] is like having a master class every day.” https://t.co/qClmRO3l5l
She speaks positively of her home life with Jeff. “On a typical Saturday, we hang out and have supper with the kids, which is always enjoyable because there are so many kids around that you never know where the conversation will lead. We’re like the Bradys.” Jeff makes pancakes on Sunday.
Other important things to note from this are that she claims she met Jeff while flying helicopters, and their romance developed from there. Following a helicopter mishap in 2003, Jeff developed a fear of flying, which Lauren claims she helped him overcome. He is currently obtaining his own pilot’s licence.
Also noteworthy is the fact that Lauren just launched Adventure & Fellowship, a production company that actually creates many of Blue Origin’s original films. Lauren also plans to branch out into documentaries and scripted programming independently from any Bezos-affiliated businesses.
Additionally, Lauren will fly in 2024 aboard a Blue Origin rocket as one of the passengers on an all-female space voyage, and she can’t wait for it.
Not the least, but also… Lauren provided further information about Jeff, mentioning that he is very witty and committed to his training. She adds that they now essentially do everything together, which we kind of already knew. She claims he also provides her with several boss and business advice, including tips on how to conduct meetings (aka, let everyone else talk first).
She describes their relationship as… “It’s like attending a master class every day to live with Jeff. He has actually taught me a lot about managing, in particular.” Lauren also discusses how, since she is constantly in the public eye, she has had to control her natural tendency to overshare.
They are in agreement about the best ways to use their money for topics they care about, including climate change, when discussing their joint charitable endeavours in the profile. It seems like Lauren is completely lost on everything.
We wouldn’t be shocked if these two got married based on the way she’s dishing here. It’s obvious that she and the guy are over over heals for each other and that they truly seem to be a match made in heaven.
