Celine Dion recently said that she has “stiff person disorder,” a rare and incurable condition that is impairing her singing and movement. She announced that she is delaying her tour dates as a result. Now, LeAnn Rimes, another brilliant singer, has postponed her shows due to “vocal cord bleed.” The 40-year-old singer published a picture of a handwritten letter on Instagram along with a heartbreaking caption that detailed her illness.
LeAnn Rimes, a country singer from Texas, received heartbreaking news about her health on Instagram. The “Can’t Fight The Moonlight” singer announced in a handwritten message that she would be rescheduling her “JOY: The Holiday Tour” shows in Riverside, Iowa, and Nashville, Tennessee, which were set for this weekend.
“Having to say that I will be rescheduling this weekend’s events absolutely tears my heart. My doctor found a bleed on my vocal chord while I was suffering from the flu, which was brought on by the ferocious cough that comes along with being sick. I am getting better, but per the doctor’s orders, I am unable to speak or sing! She wrote in the letter to confirm.
Rimes disclosed that she has the flu and is receiving treatment, but that she also has bleeding on her voice chord. She figured her followers knew she was improving but was also upset because she was looking forward to spending the holidays with them. Additionally, the singer provided new dates and urged her followers to check their emails.

LeAnn’s Heath History…
Soprano is the voice type described for Rimes, and critics frequently laud her “powerhouse vocals.” With her 1996 song “Blue,” LeAnn became a successful country music performer at the juvenile age of 13. Since then, she has sold more than 37 million records globally and placed more than 40 singles on foreign charts.
Regarding her medical issues, Rimes disclosed in 2008 that she suffered from the autoimmune disease psoriasis. She needed therapy for stress and anxiety in 2012. Rimes suffered a dislocated jaw while performing in 2014.
According to LeAnn, “temporomandibular joint dysfunction, a condition of the jaw joint and surrounding muscles,” caused the dislocation. Rimes also disclosed that she has had depression since 2010. We wish the actress, who is currently ill, a quick recovery.
