The Sister Wives actors Meri Brown and Kody Brown’s lone child, Leon Brown, disclosed in a TikTok video over the weekend that they had gender-affirming surgery. Leon, 27, who uses they/them pronouns, came out as transgender in June 2022. They had a transsexual engagement to Audrey Kriss.
In Leon’s TikTok video, they were seen going about their daily business while shirtless to display the successful gender-affirming treatment. Finding divinity in the ordinary, they said as the post’s caption. According to The Ashley’s Reality Roundup, this was the first time Leon disclosed to followers that they had undergone the treatment.
Leon has kept their trip very private, but Kriss revealed in May 2022 that they underwent a successful gender-reassignment procedure. On May 19, 2022, Kriss wrote: “Crazy what some self-love and time to yourself can accomplish sometimes. Although the last few years have been challenging, I’ve been lucky to experience some incredible joy and growth along the road. Having a “open shirt at Pride this year was big-time gender bliss,” Kriss said in a post from June.
Leon revealed their gender identity in a tweet from June 2022. They remembered being little when they first realised they weren’t a girl. “Unfortunately, I was raised in a very gendered and conservative environment. I was so socialised as a girl and later as a woman “Leo penned. “And here’s the thing: I’m finally prepared to introduce the world to my favourite version of myself. and that self is extremely trans, genderqueer, and unapologetic.”
Leon later clarified the rationale for their decision to make this information public. In their essay, they stated, “I’m sharing this part of myself to let individuals in and also to set some boundaries.” “You are not required to talk to me or about me if you choose not to use my actual name or pronouns. My name is Leo or Leon, and those are how I prefer to be addressed. Please only use that to refer to me.”
Kody and Meri, Leon’s parents, recently got divorced. From 1990 until 2014, when Kody divorced her in order to wed Robyn Brown, his fourth wife, in order to adopt Robyn’s children, they were formally married.
