Chicago rapper Lil Durk hospitalized for a week with severe exhaustion and dehydration
The founder of the collective and musical label Only The Family, Lil Durk, was reportedly hospitalised earlier this month, on July 6, 2023, after becoming ill in Ohio.
The 30-year-old rapper was soon rushed to a hospital as a precaution, but the doctors told him that the condition was graver than he and his team had anticipated. He was taken to a hospital right away.
Due to a serious health concern, Durk was forced to skip a few events in Europe and the 2023 ESPY Awards. He reportedly still doesn’t get the go-ahead from the physicians to resume his employment in any form.
What did Lil Durk have to say about his health scare?
“My fans mean everything to me; you’re the reason I do this,” Durk remarked in an interview with TMZ. I was excited to meet all of my fans in Europe, perform this weekend, watch the ESPYs, and more, but after touring and travelling every day, I’ve been dangerously dehydrated and have been told by my doctors not to travel because I’m too exhausted.
The singer of All My Life closed by promising the media source that he will return to performing as soon as he has fully recovered. He declared, “I’m looking forward to getting back to business once I have my full vitality back. #StillHealing.”
