“Priscilla Presley and the Presley family are stunned and grieved by the untimely passing of their beloved Lisa Marie,” a spokesperson for the Presley family said in a statement. They humbly appreciate everyone’s love, support, and prayers and ask for privacy during this extremely trying time.
“It is with a heavy heart that I must convey the devastating news that my beautiful daughter Lisa Marie has left us,” said Lisa Marie Presley’s mother, Priscilla, on Thursday evening, January 12. If you didn’t know, Lisa Marie Presley was taken to the hospital yesterday morning following what appeared to be a heart attack. According to a statement from a representative of the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department, paramedics were sent to the 5900 block of Normandy Drive in Calabasas to assist a woman in her 50s who was not breathing.
They started CPR as soon as they got there, noting that the patient had “signs of life,” and sent her to a nearby hospital for “urgent medical care.” Due to privacy restrictions, the spokesperson did not identify Lisa while she was in the hospital.

Lisa Marie Presley, Elvis Presley’s only child, was born nine months after Elvis and Priscilla tied the knot.
