It narrates the story of Michael Oher, an American football offensive lineman who worked extremely hard to play in the National Football League with the help of his adoptive parents, Sean and Leigh.

Sean said that Michael gave “half” of his “share” while speaking with the Daily Memphian and that the family “didn’t make any money off the movie”. “Well, Michael Lewis gave us half his share,” he said. Michael received the same amount as the rest of the family members. Each one cost around $14,000.
Oher responded to the allegations made in the Tuohys’ petition. “I am disheartened by the revelation shared in the lawsuit today,” the statement said. My family and I are in a difficult circumstance right now. Please respect our privacy at this time, I implore everyone. I won’t make any additional comments at this time and will let the case speak for itself.
