‘Pirates of the Caribbean’ producer Jerry Bruckheimer, who worked on the studio’s film series, is apparently working on a television series for Disney. The series’ storyline is currently a secret. Also unknown is if the same would be a live-action programme because there have been rumours that the franchise will include an animated television series. The adventures of Captain Jack Sparrow, who links up with a blacksmith named Will Turner to save the latter’s partner, Elizabeth Swann, are a major focus of the movie series. Then, as Sparrow pursues a variety of goals, he encounters numerous obstacles and adversaries.
The characters and actors of the programme are currently unknown, just like the narrative. The likelihood of Johnny Depp playing Jack Sparrow again is slim, despite rumours that the actor would be willing to reteam with Disney if the film was “right.” It is also possible that the series may have a new cast of characters with a story set in the same universe as the film series. Along with Depp, other notable actors who have parts in the movies include Geoffrey Rush (Captain Hector Barbossa), Jonathan Pryce (Governor Weatherby Swann), Keira Knightley (Captain Elizabeth Swann-Turner), Orlando Bloom (William “Will” Turner, Jr.), and others.
Bruckheimer is creating two more films as part of the franchise in addition to the series. “We created two of them, one starring Margot Robbie and the other featuring a younger cast. More improvement is required for the Margot Robbie one. One from the younger cast is close. The producer told The Hollywood Reporter, “Hopefully, we’ll get both of them. Robbie admitted that her movie isn’t progressing, but it hasn’t been put on hold yet. It feels alive to me. In existence for Disney. Robbie is quite busy, so it could be a good thing to push this a little. I’m sure she was sad it didn’t go first, though she might not have been. We’re confident we can make it. It’s a pretty compelling story, he continued.
Bruckheimer is a producer on the films “Bad Boys 4,” “The Ministry of Ungentlemanly Warfare,” “Eddie Murphy’s “Beverly Hills Cop 4,” and “Bad Boys 4” starring Will Smith and Henry Cavill. Fire Country, CSI: Vegas, National Treasure: Edge of History, American Gigolo, Top Gun: Maverick, Bad Boys for Life, Gemini Man, etc. are just a few of his recently released works.
The Curse of the Black Pearl, a Gore Verbinski-helmed film from 2003, served as the first installment in the “Pirates of the Caribbean” film franchise. ‘Dead Men Tell No Tales,’ a movie by Joachim Rnning and Espen Sandberg that was released in May 2017, is the most recent installment in the series. The sixth movie in the series has been in development for a while.
