What is Power Book II: Ghost season 3 about?
The third season of Power Book II: Ghost “kicks off with Tariq Saint Patrick resolved to get his trust, get back to his family, and get out of the business for good,” according to the official synopsis.
“The appearance of a vicious new connect interrupts Tariq’s intentions to reunite with Tasha and Yaz and puts him, Brayden, and Effie back into business with the Tejadas as they’re forced to carry more weight than ever before,” the synopsis reads.
The drug trade moves from Stansfield and the streets to Wall Street when Brayden hires Tariq as an intern at his family’s hedge fund Weston Holdings. Tariq is also shown a different, legal route to success.
“Monet Tejada, whose life has been devastated by the death of her son Zeke Cross, is prepared to pay a high price to exact revenge on her firstborn and maintain control over the other children and the family business as she collaborates closely with Davis MacLean to solve Zeke’s murder and evade the authorities.
Business is booming when a startling revelation leads Tariq to face a betrayal from those closest to him. At the same time, a RICO investigation into the whole drug trade is intensifying, drawing Tariq farther into the industry and closer to his father’s legacy.
