Raising Dion Season 2: Hanging Unanswered Questions! Is Mark Still Alive?

Educating Dion In Season 1, the Crooked Man, who has assumed control of the body of a family friend named Pat, is defeated by Dion (Ja’Siah Young) and his mother Nicole (Alisha Wainwright) (Jason Ritter). Even though he had been eating superhumans like Dion’s father Mark (Michael B. Jordan), the kid superhero was a match for him. However, the corrupt energy hasn’t been annihilated.

In Season Two, the evil energy powers the orphan Brayden (Griffin Robert Faulkner), and once more, Dion, his loved ones, and his friends must put a stop to it in order to prevent any further harm to others. Once more, Dion and Nicole are able to absorb the twisted energy and drive it away from Brayden. Although they all emerge from the conflict unscathed, the energy still seems to be present. Rome Flynn (How to Get Away with Murder), Aubriana Davis, and Josh Ventura are just a few of the new cast members that have joined for season 2.

We will only touch on a few of the many questions that remain unanswered for fans when the season is over.

How did Pat survive?

The first episode of Season 2 ended with an unanticipated surprise. Pat Rollins makes a healthy and alive return! We all seen him entirely vanish into space prior to this. So what took place? What makes him still alive?

How Pat, alias The Crooked Man, survives his electric meeting with Dion at the end of Season 1 isn’t actually explained in Raising Dion in great detail. After Nicole uses a lightning rod to direct Dion’s energy into his heart, he virtually vanishes into thin air when we last see him. So how does he, in his account, abruptly lose his abilities the day after the battle and re-materialize in a field?

The conclusion of Season 1 reveals that Pat’s abilities were transferred to Brayden Mills, the orphaned child of one of the Crooked Man’s victims. Since we are unable to know for certain how Pat lives, it is logical to infer that he was saved by the Crooked Man energy, which must have been separated from his body in some way. Although Pat’s apparent regeneration abilities are not entirely plausible, it may not be too far-fetched given that the majority of the talents conferred by the Aurora Event are shrouded in mystery. Maybe a third season will fill in the blanks.

Is Mark Still Alive?

Mark Warren, who is portrayed by Michael B. Jordan, adds a sense of certainty to Dion and Nicole’s journey in Raising Dion. Viewers anticipated that Dion would be looking for a means to bring his father back to the actual world in his human form after Season 1 ended and Mark said, “Energy Never Dies.” Unfortunately, Jordan does not return for the second season of the programme.

His disappearance is disappointing, especially considering that the Season 1 finale leaves us with the impression that he is still alive in some capacity. In truth, Mark did not pass away. The Crooked Man absorbed him. He doesn’t have a physical body, yet he is still alive in the form of energy. He informs Dion that energy cannot be created or destroyed in the Season 1 finale during the last battle moments before the Crooked Man vanishes.

Although Jordan hasn’t formally announced his departure from the show, it appears that his hectic schedule as the Season 2 Executive Producer had a part in Mark’s absence. However, given that Mark told Dion that “energy never dies,” there is still a chance that he will play Mark in later seasons and help his son out when things are tough.

What happens to Brayden now?

The Crooked Man manipulates Brayden repeatedly throughout Season 2. In order to influence Brayden, he takes advantage of his loneliness. Dion, Nicole, Tevin (Flynn), and Janelle (Davis) battle the Crooked Man’s monsters in the ultimate battle on the school’s football field, but they quickly realise that they can never physically defeat them. Then, Nicole speaks to Brayden gently, showing him love and support despite the awful things he’s done, seeing that he is just a scared, sad child who lost both of his parents and has no one to watch out for him. This grants Brayden the power to elude the Crooked Man’s influence and aid Dion in averting disaster.

Wonderful, so what’s going on with Brayden now? After Season 2, it is unclear where he will end up because we are aware of no living relatives left. But Nicole will undoubtedly make every effort to protect him going forward.

What is the meaning of the End-Credits Scene?

In the post-credits sequence, Pat leads an army of black-clad soldiers through the charred ruins of a metropolis that has burned down in the future. It appears that Pat may have accepted David’s (Ventura) offer to assist him in amassing a supervillain army. Pat instructs his troops that it is time to, “finish this,” but a cape-clad adult superhero appears from the skies and descends in front of them before they can take any action. He identifies himself as the Mind Mover and displays Dion’s father’s watch that is encased in one of his arm gauntlets. Before the screen goes black, Pat recognises who he is dealing with at that point and starts to fear.

Does this imply that Dion will appear in adult roles in upcoming Raising Dion seasons? What Pat also meant to say was “is now”? When is it time? We’re eager to find out. There is a conflict, of that there can be no doubt. Just let’s hope there are a few more seasons so we can fully appreciate the build-up.

What would the plot be if Raising Dion returns?

The third season might centre on the coming together of Pat, the wicked David, and the crooked energy, as well as the development of a powerful villain army. This is shown by the foreboding post-credits scene from Season 2 which hinted at a future confrontation between Pat and Dion. Therefore, we may anticipate that any upcoming seasons will lay the groundwork for this terrifying experience.

Nicole’s research into energy at the Biona research lab, which Season 2 left unfinished, might also receive more attention in a third season. Dion might have his own army as well, considering that Biona has a place for powered individuals to train.

Finally, Season 3 of Raising Dion will probably depict Nicole’s struggles to raise her heroic kid, as well as Dion’s transition into pre-teen/teen life and all the challenges that come with that.

Who could be in the potential Raising Dion Season 3 Cast?

The Season 2 end titles also hint that Pat, who assists Dion in building his army, may appear in a future season. Pat may even appear with David Marsh. Nicole probably also appears in Season 3. She survived her close call with the infection caused by the weird flowers in the sinkhole and is still here to tell the tale.

As Season 2 came to a close, The Triangle of Justice, Dion, Esperanza (Sammi Haney), and Jonathan (Gavin Munn), were still friendly with one another. If Season 3 is approved, we may anticipate the trio’s return.

Tevin is likely to continue serving as Dion’s strong superhero trainer. The Head of Biona, Suzanne Wu (Ali Ahn), Aunty Kat (Jazmyn Simon), and Janelle are further members of the cast that could make a comeback. However, nothing has been confirmed as of yet, so followers will need to check back for additional details.

Will there be a Raising Dion Season 3?

Raising Dion may or may not have additional seasons, but if the closing credits are any indication, there is more than enough superhero mystery for a third season, there is enough of material to build on.

Netflix typically announces new shows after watching data and user feedback are available. Since Season 2 was filled to the brim with more crooked energy, mind control, powerful individuals, a training facility, poisoned flowers, terrible monsters, and plenty of romance, we can only assume that all will turn out for the better.
