The heat is ready to return! The second season of Sex/Life, the sexual drama starring Sarah Shahi, is about to premiere, and Netflix has just released a hot teaser trailer and some first-look images. The streaming service also disclosed when the season would be released.
The show centers on Billie, a wife and mother who grows weary of Cooper, her husband, and their routine existence and begins daydreaming about Brad, her ex-boyfriend. The love triangle and the passionate love-making moments will both be there in the future season, according to the teaser.
Sex/Life Season 2 Release Date Announced with Teaser and First-Look Photos
The teaser depicts Billie sharing a passionate encounter with both her husband Cooper and her ex-boyfriend Brad. “The urge to wake up and cease living our lives while asleep, is not something that everyone has. must cease attempting to act morally upright while downplaying our truth. The voice-over says, “But those of us who do, we wade in treacherous seas.
The voice-over continues, “Because once you wake up, if you receive even just a tiny taste, there’s no going back.” Six episodes make up the second season, all of which will be available to view on Netflix starting on March 2. View the teaser video below.
In addition to the teaser, the first-look pictures also hint at what to expect from the season because one of the pictures shows Brad and Billie almost kissing. The remaining stills show Cooper in bed with a troubled expression, him kissing Francesca, Gigi coming close to Brad, and Kam and Sasha sharing a romantic moment.
The Season will Focus on Second Chances, Says Showrunner
Stacy Rukeyser, the show’s creator and executive producer, said of how the second season’s story will develop: “This season is a fairy tale, full of hope and love and second chances. We never stop speculating, and our characters never stop attempting to live the life (and have the sex) they envision.
She continued, “We have several exciting new faces in the mix — not the least of which is a hot new love interest for Sasha. That’s how we like Sex/Life — as a big, bold, unapologetic exploration of female desire, and a thrilling chance to tell the truth about our lives and the choices we all make in relationships, family, career, and identity.
Some New Cast Members will Join the Show in Season 2
Along with Mike Vogel as Cooper Connelly, Adam Demos as Brad Simon, Margaret Odette as Sasha Snow, Jonathan Sadowski as Devon, Li Jun Li as Francesca, and Amber Goldfarb as Trina, Sarah Shahi will reprise her role as Billie.
Wallis Day as Gigi, Dylan Bruce as Spencer, Craig Bierko as Mick, Cleo Anthony as Kam, and Darius Homayoun as Majid will all be joining the cast as new actors. J. Miles Dale and Jordan Hawley are also executive producers in addition to Rukeyser.
