“American Horror Story: Coven”
Witches don’t appear in every season of “American Horror Story,” but it would be foolish not to mention the third season, which is unquestionably the greatest and most wicked witch show of them all. As the film’s title suggests, we are introduced to a coven of fashionable witches who are all competing to succeed their leader, Jessica Lange, as Supreme. Due to the weak connections between its universe, AHS also has witches in its “Roanoke” and “Apocalypse” seasons.

“Bewitched”
Actually, “Bewitched” serves as a model for witchy television. Elizabeth Montgomery plays Samantha in the enduring fantasy sitcom, a strong sorceress who marries a common mortal guy. Even though she swears she won’t use her abilities, things occasionally don’t go as planned. (Be sure to keep an eye out for the upcoming “Bewitched” reboot, too!)
“Bewitched” can be seen on Amazon Prime.
“Buffy the Vampire Slayer”
Without including one of the fiercest witches on television, Willow Rosenberg, any discussion of witches would be incomplete. As much as this program is about Buffy (Sarah Michelle Gellar) reducing vampires to dust, it’s also about Willow’s battle with witchcraft and her mastery of it in order to aid her best friend. Her black magic, in particular, plays a significant role in the season six plot.

“Charmed”
A list of witches would be incomplete without the one and only “Charmed.” Upon moving in with her sisters, Phoebe (Alyssa Milano) learns from an old book that her entire family possesses remarkable witchcraft abilities. They must contend with evil powers while living their regular lives in order to defend the Earth. The CW even produced a revival of the program, which was renewed for a fourth and final season in May.
Netflix “Charmed” to watch.
“Chilling Adventures of Sabrina”
On the television series “Chilling Adventures of Sabrina,” which is based on the comic book series of the same name and stars Kiernan Shipka from “Mad Men,” Sabrina receives a darker makeover. A half-witch who battles evil while juggling her mortal and witch identities is the story’s title protagonist.

Cursed
The King Arthur stories from the Middle Ages are reimagined in the witch TV series “Cursed,” which focuses mostly on Nimue, or the “Wolf-Blood Witch.” Nimue (Katherine Langford) is coming to grips with her abilities as well as her duty to save her persecuted Fey people as she searches for the sorcerer Merlin.
Netflix has “Cursed” available.
Good Witch
“Good Witch,” a Hallmark movie, will satisfy your craving for wholesome, soapy witchiness. The titular sorceress, played by Catherine Bell, is raising her teenage daughter in the sleepy hamlet of Middleton.

“Merlin”
The title character in the film “Merlin,” played by Colin Morgan, is compelled to keep his magical abilities a secret because magic is outlawed in Camelot. Along with Merlin, we also encounter other sorcerers including Morgana and Nimueh, who were also adapted from King Arthurian legends.
Netflix “Merlin” to watch.
“Motherland: Fort Salem”
Three witches enlist in the US Army and receive training in spellcasting and battle magic. In the fictional Salem Accord, the United States put a stop to the persecution of witches 300 years before to the events of “Motherland: Fort Salem,” which take place in a world where women predominate.

“Sabrina the Teenage Witch”
In “Sabrina the Teenage Witch,” Sabrina Spellman (Melissa Joan Hart), who comes from a line of strong witches, resides with her two eccentric aunts Zelda (Beth Broderick) and Hilda (Caroline Rhea), as well as their sarcastic cat Salem (Nick Bakay). She is dealing with ordinary high school drama, such as her crush on Harvey Kinkle, as she learns how to harness her skills.

“The Magicians”
In “The Magicians,” a gang of misfits in their 20s attend Brakebills University for Magical Pedagogy, a school for witchcraft for adults. While the characters do fanciful feats and cast spells, the program has also received recognition for its emotionally nuanced depictions of issues like addiction and abuse.

“WandaVision”
This distinct MCU series, which stars Elizabeth Olsen as the Scarlet Witch, captured viewers’ attention with her magic and retro ’50s charm but gripped them even more with its depiction of sadness and loss. It has Wanda and her husband Vision dealing with the challenges of practically living in a comedy while keeping their superhuman abilities a secret from their new neighbors.
