Another group of gorgeous singles are getting more attention from Netflix. The second season of the popular Korean reality dating show Single’s Inferno revives the original premise and tries its luck with a brand-new cast of islanders seeking to find love in a couples’ paradise. The upcoming season is expected to be “hotter and sexier” and feature more drama as the survivors attempt to form alliances. There is currently no release date, but there is a new clip that teases the fun in the sun and offers a quick view of the island.
Due of its setting on a deserted island, Single’s Inferno stands out from the rest of the reality dating crowd. The “trapped” group of five men and five women are left to fend for themselves on the island, searching for food and water to live. Shack up with someone to leave this “Hell Island” forever. Any competitors who manage to click and decide to start a relationship are transported off the island and treated like royalty in “Paradise,” which includes the best cuisine and lodgings to spark the start of their new romance. Anyone who fails will have to remain on the island by themselves. As things heat up and get intense on the island, hosts are always offering advice.
Single’s Inferno was a great hit for Netflix in terms of streaming figures. The steamy reality show’s first season was included in the streamer’s Top 10 Non-English TV list for three weeks in a row, peaking earlier this year at number four. Stunning singles competing on an island that appears to be mostly made of sand while enjoying the sun are featured in the latest trailer for the forthcoming season.
The majority of the original creative team from Season 1 will return for Season 2 of Single’s Inferno. Ji Hyun-sook and Lee Jeong-hwa are directing the second season under the direction of the show’s creators Kim Jae-won and Kim Na-hyun. The second season of the well-liked backpacking series Traveler, which also airs on JTBC, is one of the Korean reality shows for which Jae-won is well-known. Netflix and JTBC collaborated in the production of Single’s Inferno, with assistance from the Shijak company. Producer Kim Su-a is also involved.

Netflix hasn’t yet made a Single’s Inferno Season 2 trailer, although the streaming service hinted at it at the Tudum Korea international fan event in September 2022. Moon Se-hoon and Shin Ji-Yeon, stars of Single’s Inferno Season 1, attended the ceremony.
