Cardi B And Tasha K Case – Did The YouTuber Really Pay The Money To Cardi B?

According to reports, YouTuber Tasha K has been ordered by the judge in Cardi B’s defamation case to pay the rapper the $4 million judgment she owes her right away.

Tasha K, whose real name is LaTasha Kebe, is currently appealing the judge’s ruling that the gossip blogger defamed Cardi B in her case. According to a report from Billboard published on Thursday (Oct. 13), judge William Ray has mandated that Tasha K pay Cardi the seven-figure sum before the challenge to the decision is resolved. The only other choice left to Tasha is to obtain a bond for the entire sum.

The YouTuber wants to put off the substantial reimbursement while the case is being appealed. Judge Ray says that will only occur if she is able to acquire a private bond covering the total amount. If she is unsuccessful in her appeal, Cardi will receive the money.

After the media personality wrote a blog post accusing Cardi B of being a prostitute in 2018, the Bronx, New York, rapper first filed a lawsuit against her in 2019. Cardi won the case in January after it was heard in a federal court in Georgia earlier in the year. After the decision was made public, Tasha K denounced it as “very prejudiced.” Tasha K resisted removing the offensive posts for months after the judgment, even after being warned that she might go to jail.

Cardi B’s attorneys requested the bond after she challenged the judgment last month because they were concerned that Tasha K could try to avoid paying the fine.

Lisa F. Moore, the representative for Cardi B, said in a statement on Friday that “this is more than a hypothetical worry in this case.” “Kebe boasted in public during the trial that she had taken precautions to protect herself against a ruling. Additionally, there have been recent online rumors that Kebe has left Georgia in order to dodge the judgment’s implementation.”

The United States District Court for the Northern District of Georgia has been contacted by XXL for a response.
