Fans of dystopian and post-apocalyptic movies and television shows are drawn to them because it is a natural “what if” for individuals to imagine themselves having to survive in a dangerous environment while battling for their lives. The 100, which is loosely based on Kass Morgan’s eponymous young adult novel series, explores what happens to humanity nearly 100 years after being forced to leave the uninhabitable planet. They don’t dwell on the ground; they reside in a space station orbiting the planet. 100 adolescent detainees are transported to the earth to see if things have improved because the space station has malfunctioned. They are shocked to learn that there are other people on the planet after they arrive. As the other members join the initial gang on the ground throughout the course of the seven seasons, alliances, war, and deaths all occur.
Many of the cast members have chosen various career paths since the times when they were frantically attempting to survive in unfavourable circumstances. Several actors have left the performing business and dabbled in their own interests, while others seem to be just getting their acting careers off the ground. Other people found true love on set and went on to build families. See some of the main characters from The 100’s current whereabouts.
Adina Porter
Adina Porter has spent the majority of the previous 20 years doing supporting roles on several television programmes aside from her lead role as Lettie Thornton in True Blood. Two years after being given a recurring part in The Newsroom in 2012, Porter was introduced to audiences as the fierce female warrior Indra from The 100. Porter has been in the American Horror Story television series as a number of different characters. She received three nominations for her performance in the horror anthology. Porter has been cast in the new TV show The Changeling, but no premiere date has been made public.
Bob Morley
Fans swooned at Bob Morley’s ability to portray the rude rebel who develops into a caring sweetheart. Together with his wife Eliza Taylor, Morley has taken on fatherhood since his time as Bellamy Blake, made appearances in a few television shows, and devoted himself to charity work. Morley’s most recent work, I’ll Be Watching, is scheduled for publication later this year. Fans may catch him in the Australian miniseries Love Me. In terms of his charitable activity, Morley has created shirts to collect money for charities that promote mental and emotional wellness. He and his wife posted about their own shirt campaign in 2020, which they used to raise money for the groups battling the Australian bushfires.
Christopher Larkin
On The 100, Christopher Larkin’s character made one of the most remarkable makeovers, going from herb enthusiast to adored father. Larkin was cast in a recurring part in the miniseries, Tales of the City, during the final year of filming for the science fiction series. Larkin has chosen to devote more time to his music rather than continue working in the film industry. Three albums have been made available by him under the name Carry Hatchet (a reference to a Ken Burns documentary, where a woman named Carrie was smashing up saloons with a hatchet). Fans may access Larkin’s music on Spotify and Apple Music right now, and he appears to love his freedom inside the music business.
Eliza Taylor
The actual Eliza Taylor changed her name to Eliza Morley near the end of The 100. She wed Bob Morley (Bellamy), her co-star, and the couple welcomed a son in March 2022. Taylor has played the starring roles in the movies Thumper and Christmas Inheritance since she played the moral compass, Clarke Griffin. Later, Taylor had the opportunity to make her debut as an executive producer on the romantic comedy It Only Takes a Night in addition to acting in it. She and her husband are co-stars in her most recent effort, the science fiction picture I’ll be Watching. Taylor does not appear to be slowing down at all in her advancement in the profession, even with a one-year-old on her hip.
Henry Ian Cusick
Henry Ian Cusick left The 100 in an unexpected way: after switching bodies, his character said that he would rather die than stay in his new vessel. He appeared in a number of movies after the series ended, including Just Let Go and Pali Road. Cusick had no trouble getting major roles in The Passage and MacGyver when it came to his appearance in television shows. He recently concluded filming Jamojaya, the most recent screenplay by Justin Chon. Cusick appears to get some fairly unique jobs because of his solemn demeanour.
Isaiah Washington
Prior to becoming Thelonious, Isaiah Washington was best recognised for his role as Dr. Preston Burke on Grey’s Anatomy. Washington made a single appearance on a few episodes after his tenure on The 100, including Blue Bloods, Bull, and Tales. He put his passion for food into a brief series in 2020 titled Isaiah Washington: Kitchen Conversation. After engaging in his pastime on camera, Washington resumed acting. He co-wrote, directed, and performed in the Western movie Corsicana, and he had a recurring part on P-Valley. Washington doesn’t seem to be afraid of tackling contentious subjects, and his most recent role as a salve-to-deputy shows that he is ready to have an influence.
Lindsey Morgan
Although though Lindsey Morgan’s time on The 100 as the feisty mechanical engineer is gone, her career in the film industry appears to be just beginning. She has acted in the films Inside Game, Summer Days, Summer Nights, and Lasso. In addition to reprising her Captain Rose Corley role in Skyline 3 in 2020, Morgan also made an engagement announcement to Canadian actor Shaun Sipos. About her most recent project, Morgan was starring in The CW’s Walker alongside Supernatural actor Jared Padalecki. Morgan announced her departure from the programme, stating that she must kindly take some time for herself.
Marie Avgeropoulos
As she developed in The 100 from a defenceless fugitive to a ruthless warrior, Marie Avgeropoulos won over the hearts of the audience. While Avgeropoulos played Octavia Blake for the whole seven-season run, she also made several cinematic appearances. She co-starred in Tracers and Dead Rising: Endgame with her ex-boyfriend Taylor Lautner. In Wonder Woman: Bloodlines, Avgeropoulos also provided the voice of Vanessa Kapatelis/Silver Swan. She is currently shooting the biopic Butterfly in the Typewriter, although its release date has not yet been set.
Paige Turco
Paige Turco was a well-known face and voice in both television and film for a very long time before she was Dr. Abigail Griffin. Her most well-known performances include Melanie Cortlandt in All My Children, Terri Lowell in The Agency, and April O’Neil in the second and third Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle movies. Following the completion of The 100’s production, Turco was cast in NCIS, NCIS: New Orleans, and the horror anthology Books of Blood. Turco regularly updates her Twitter account with posts on her personal life, how much she misses her cast mates, and cameo calls with her followers.
Richard Harmon
John Murphy, played by Richard Harmon, was initially easy to dislike in The 100, but as he overcame additional challenges and even acquired a decent love interest, Murphy won viewers over. In 2020, Harmon appeared in three films (Darkness Falling, The Return, and Woodland), for which he received five nominations. For the latter two films, he took home two trophies. Harmon looks to be an underdog who is stealthily moving through the ranks, much like his character in The 100. The Flash actor Owen Mercer/Captain Boomerang is his most recent recurring character.
Ricky Whittle
Fans were relieved to see that Ricky Whittle is still acting, even though his time as Lincoln felt far too short—especially for those who were pulling for his romance with Octavia. Whittle obtained a lead role as a bodyguard in the three-season fantasy series American Gods after leaving The 100. He plays a dreamboat doctor in the Netflix series Nappily Ever After. Fans continue to adore him for playing the sensitive love interest who just wants his partner to be her true self.
Taysa Teles
Echo, played by Taysa Teles in The 100 (1)Warner Bros. Television, was a formidable character. Teles can simultaneously present the character as obstinate and defenceless. Teles has secured a major part in the Canadian comedy series Shoresy since she was an Ice Nation Grounder. Teles was profiled in the New York Moves Magazine’s segment on celebrities in 2022. The article discusses how Teles believed as a child that she would work in a “man’s business” like technology or finance because she enjoys challenging the norms of careers that cater to people of the opposite sex. She stresses the importance of finding other women who share her values and who want to help each other develop in an interview.
