How to watch Sharper? Ever since the release of its first trailer, the most recent Apple original film, Sharper, which is funded by A-24, has gained attention. Sharper, a film directed by Benjamin Caron, is based on a screenplay by Brian Gatewood and Alessandro Tanaka. Along with a number of other people, including the film’s leading lady Julianne Moore, both writers also happen to produce the work.
Caron is a very accomplished director who has received honours including the Emmy, Golden Globe, and BAFTA. His most well-known productions are the BBC’s “Sherlock,” the Netflix royal drama “The Crown,” and most recently, the Disney Plus series “Andor.” After spending so many years working on television, the director is making a comeback with Sharper.
According to the official synopsis, Sharper is an exciting story about a teenage con artist seeking retribution against his own family for rejecting him. We don’t typically expect a fun-filled adrenaline trip from A 24 studios, but the trailer looks slick and promises just that. It has a lot of the same characteristics as the sleek thrillers from the 1980s, 1990s, or the early 2000s.
The other sections of Sharper are managed by a variety of talented individuals in addition to a rather capable director. Danish cinematographer Charlotte Bruus Christensen, who is well-known for working with director Thomas Vinterberg on films like The Hunt, photographed the film. It seems like a very safe and logical choice to hire editor Yan Miles for the position here given that she has previously collaborated with Ben Caron on both “The Crown” and “Sharper.” Last but not least, the score for the movie was written by the late Clint Mansell.
Sharper Cast
Sebastian Stan, who plays the son in the movie Sharper, is pitted against Julianne Moore, who plays the son. Additionally, the supporting ensemble includes performers like John Lithgow and Justice Smith, and actress Briana Middleton, who featured in the film “The Tender Bar,” completes the group.
The biggest draw in this is seeing Stan and Moore compete against one another. Given that Stan has a sizable fan base, the actor will draw a sizable audience when he plays a rich young brat.
