Adam Abbou as Danny Lewis

As Danny Lewis, Adam Abbou performs. Danny has sworn to keep his word to Val and Kim Campbell, who are giving him more support, but it’s possible he won’t be able to do so.

Adam Ali as Khalil ‘Kai’ Sharif

Adam Thomas as Donte Charles

a favorite from Emmerdale Adam Thomas will reprise his role as Donte Charles as an adult. Now we last met him, he was a student. He has since matured considerably, and he is now Chlo’s suitable family man.

Although he has previously acted in Casualty in the trip documentary Absolutely India: Mancs in Mumbai with his late father Doguie and brothers Ryan and Scott, Adam is probably best known as Donte or as Adam Barton in Emmerdale. Alicia Forde as Kelly-Jo Rafferty

Jo Rafferty enjoys causing trouble for the Waterloo Road staff, and all of the teachers dread having her in their classes, even though the underlying cause of her disruption is simply because she has trouble focusing.

ChiChi Ulebor as Shola Aku

The role of the deeply moral student Shola Aku is played by ChiChi Ulebor. Shola is referred to as “a one woman machine, hell bent on spotlighting the injustices around the school and the world.” She is described as intelligent, focused, and ambitious.

Francesco Piacentini-Smith as Dean Weaver

Dean Waver, who is portrayed by Francesco, appears to be another student to keep an eye on in the classroom. As “a ducker and weaver, into all sorts; like a modern Artful Dodger,” Dean is described.

James Baxter as Joe Casey

Joe Casey, another deputy head at Waterloo Road, is portrayed by James Baxter. He is referred regarded be Lindon’s “laid-back alternative,” and many employees go to him for advice. Additionally, he is wed to local police officer Mike Rutherford.

The newest power couple on Waterloo Road includes Priyasasha Kumari as one half. Although her relationship with Preston appears to be picture-perfect on the surface, she is beginning to wonder if there is more to their connection than just physical attractiveness.

Rachel Leskovac as Coral Walker

Starring as Coral Walker is Rachel Leskovac, a dependable (albeit ostensibly unpopular!) employee who puts in a lot of effort. She follows the rules religiously and watches out for the kids… on her terms.

Ryan Clayton as Mike Rutherford

Sergeant Mike Rutherford of the police completes the adult cast as played by Ryan Clayton. He is wed to Joe, and the two of them have two foster children enrolled at the school.

Shauna Shim as Valerie Chambers

Valerie Chambers, a music instructor, is portrayed by Shauna Shim. Val is passionate about the ability of music to heal and entered the teaching profession later in her career. Although she has a short fuse when it comes to core curriculum and state limitations regarding the arts, she draws on her Trinidadian and Jamaican roots.

Sonia Ibrahim as Jamila Omar

Sonia portrays Jamila Omar, a social worker at Waterloo Road who always tries her hardest to encourage the students. “A loving person,” she said, who “certainly puts the kids first but does it in the correct way” best describes her character.

Summer Violet Bird as Tonya Walters

Thapelo Ray as Dwayne Jackson

Dwayne Jackson, portrayed by Thapelo Ray, is a 14-year-old who has to take care of his younger brother, Zayne. Apparently, life for the pair was “the two of them against the world”… until they met Joe and Mike.

Where else have you seen Thapelo Ray? Thapelo has also appeared in Nativity 3 and in the BBC daytime series, Doctors.

Vincent Jerome as Lindon King

One of the Deputy Headteachers at Waterloo Road is portrayed by Vincent Jerome as Lindon King. He is the school’s head of behavior and science and the basketball coach of the Waterloo Warriors. He appears to be focusing on Kim’s position as well.
