Wes, or Weston Bahr, was born and reared in Prairie City, Illinois, despite his preference to keep much of his private life out of the public eye. So it’s not surprising that we now know little or nothing about his parents, but he has made it clear that his older sister is one of the most important members of his support system. He and Teri Bahr-Peterson, who wed her spouse Todd over 28 years ago, have a huge age difference, but they have always had a strong, loving relationship.
Wes’ Profession
Wes received his Bachelor’s degree in Film/Video Studies from Florida’s Full Sail University in 2009, and from what we can tell, he entered the field right away. His first position was as a production assistant for the films “G Love” (2009) and “Love Games: Bad Girls Need Love Too” (2010), from which he steadily advanced up the entertainment food chain. Wes actually advanced into the roles of stage manager, sound mixer/boomer, coordinating producer, assistant/associate director, and more, allowing him to have more than 25 finished films to his credit as of this writing.
