The high school student Koyomi Araragi thought his life was ended when he was attacked and transformed into a vampire. The Lunarians want to use them to beautify their homes! The Lustrous learn to combat them, but not all diamonds are beneficial. Phos is the Lustrous’s youngest form, and it is unable to battle due to its brittleness. However, they must find work for this one, so they are sent on a literary mission to collect history. They come encounter another type of diamond on their hunt who lives in isolation because they are harmful to others. Being a Phos now doesn’t seem so horrible.
