Twin sisters Brandi and Kandi Dreier underwent bariatric surgery from Texas-based doctor Dr. Younan Nowzaradan (commonly known as “Dr. Now”), and the TLC reality series “My 600-Lb Life” documented their experiences. The operation on both of the twins was approved by Nowzaradan, but Kandi encountered a big obstacle when her heart stopped while she was receiving treatment in the intensive care unit (ICU) for post-operative problems.
Fortunately, Brandi and Kandi both made it through the experience. After the twins contacted People, Kandi informed the publication that she was doing fine and added, “There have been no additional setbacks. It’s like if it never even happened.” Brandi and Kandi were said to have both shed 200 lbs. at the time of that interview.

Brandi and Kandi Dreier are doing well
Despite the initial uncertainty surrounding their recovery, it appears like Brandi and Kandi Dreier have been doing well since since Dr. Nowzaradan performed their surgeries on them. Some of Kandi’s Facebook posts, including sporadic images of her and her twin sister posing together, have been made public. The photo of the two sisters shows them both beaming, and Kandi captioned it, “So lucky to have her as my other half.” Accord ing to Kandi’s tagging of her sister Brandi, Kandi is the one in the green shirt on the left and Brandi is the one in the dark blue shirt on the right in the picture above.
Brandi wed Femi Mark Eijs, whose full last name appears to be Ejioye, after she and Kandi featured on the follow-up series “My 600-lb Life: Where Are They Now?” Femi Ejioye and Brandi Dreier were listed as having received a divorce decree in a September 2021 announcement on divorces in The Columbian, suggesting that they are now legally separated.
Kandi lists herself as being in a relationship on her Facebook site, but she doesn’t post publicly often enough to reveal much about her love life.
Brandi Dreier is a mother of two
In addition to her marriage and divorce, Brandi Dreier has welcomed two children during her time on “My 600-lb Life.” She is claimed to have kept her second pregnancy under wraps and has two kids by her ex-husband: one born in June 2018 and one born in October 2020.
Brandi’s sister Kandi Dreier has frequently referred to her nieces by the nicknames “Boog” and “Goob,” with the latter being the younger of the two, even though she and her ex-husband have chosen not to reveal their children’s names to the public. The abbreviation Kandi appears to go by with her sister’s kids is “TT” or “Titi.”
Brandi openly requested recommendations for a photographic studio to take family photos of her in the midst of the COVID-19 pandemic after the birth of her second kid in order to get pictures of her second-born daughter when she was still a newborn.
