The prime minister’s office issued a statement confirming that they had both signed a separation contract that was legally binding. “They remain a close family, and Sophie and the Prime Minister are committed to raising their children in a secure, caring, and cooperative environment,” the statement said. Beginning the following week, the entire family will be on vacation together.
