People all over the world are now acutely aware of the ups and downs that Cody Rhodes (formerly known as Cody Runnels) had to through in order to establish his position in World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE) because to Peacock’s “American Nightmare: Becoming Cody Rhodes.” Cody’s wife, Brandi Runnels, alias Brandi Rhodes, who is also shown in the documentary film, supported him during some of the most trying years of his life. According to Cody and Brandi’s stories in the Peacock film, they originally avoided one another while dancing for WWE. He recalled one of the funnier episodes from the time and related how he had stopped the latter as she was ready to walk out in front of the cameras one day to urge that she check her hair. Prior to being persuaded by one of the female wrestlers that this was Cody’s method of flirting, Brandi had gotten anxious about doing the same.

Cody, however, insists that Brandi’s hair that day was actually done incorrectly, despite the fact that it did allow him to approach the woman he had grown to respect from a distance. After they first met in 2011, it didn’t take her long to see that he was the one for her. She recalled one of her most treasured moments to help her come to this conclusion. “Cody asked me on a date to Universal Studios’ Halloween Horror Night. Despite being a horror enthusiast, nobody had ever asked me out on a date to Halloween Horror Night, and I had never been, she said to Sports Illustrated.
I visit any haunted house I can find, and I grew up in Michigan, where there are lots of spooky, rural attractions, Brandi continued. For years, I’d wanted to attend Halloween Horror Night, but nobody had ever expressed interest. We were on our second or third date when I realised that was the best thing that had happened in a while.
Cody and Brandi decided to make it an annual habit after their great Halloween weekend at Universal Studios. The pair were married in September 2013 after two years of dating, and they were thrilled about the news. As they began a new chapter in their life, folks close to them congratulated them. The two developed a power couple status inside the franchise because to Brandi’s fame as wrestler Eden Stiles and a ring announcer in the WWE.

Cody’s wife stood by him in every circumstance, even as he grew increasingly dissatisfied with his Stardust character’s storyline in the WWE. Given how much the wrestler looked up to his father, Dusty “American Dream” Rhodes, the news of his terrible death rocked the marriage. When Cody left WWE in 2016 and joined the independent circuit, they collaborated to try to make the most of the circumstances. Cody and Brandi are indeed dating as of this writing. Given how closely they have worked together on their careers as sports celebrities, their cooperation actually extends beyond their personal lives. Together, the two left AEW in 2022, and Brandi was there to support her husband fully as he made a comeback in the renowned WWE franchise by defeating Seth Rollins in a bout.

Cody and Brandi are most pleased with being parents after bringing their daughter, Liberty, into the world on June 18, 2021, despite their professional achievements. In the movie, the former acknowledged that his daughter has taken on the role of his moral compass because he wants to be able to face her every day without feeling guilty. It is understandable that the WWE star is adamant about his duty as a dad given how much Cody respected his father. We hope for the best for the joyful Rhodes family and wish them more fame and prosperity.
