Heidi Broussard’s Family: Current Updates and Locations
Who Is Heidi Broussard’s Family?
Heidi Broussard, a single kid, was born in 1986 to Roger “David” and Tammy Bostick Broussard, a loving couple. She lived her early years in Cameron until relocating to Lake Charles, Louisiana. Sometime in 2015, she moved to Austin, Texas, and lived in an apartment on the 700 block of West William Cannon Drive with her own small family. As of 2019, these included her fiancé, Shane Tyson Carey, her stepdaughter, Addison, and the two kids she had with her soulmate, Silas Tyson, age six, and Margo E. Carey, who was just born.
By all accounts, Heidi was a family-oriented person. Everyone understood that something had to be wrong when she vanished. Her parents, who travelled to Austin to assist in her search, even went so far as to confirm in a press conference that they don’t believe their daughter left the house on her own volition. But they were sure they’d bring Heidi and their granddaughter back safely because they were receiving regular information from the police. Tammy had said, “We do believe they are coming home, so we won’t give up hope or let go.”
Where is Heidi Broussard’s Family Now?
Sadly, the Broussard family’s expectations were dashed when Heidi’s body was found at Magen Fieramusca’s residence in the trunk of a car. Fieramusca was thought to be Heidi’s closest friend. After that, Tammy told the media that they are “getting through as a family,” even though things are difficult and they are “overwhelmed with grief.” She also spoke warmly of her daughter. She then stated, “There’s no relief for this,” in a different interview. All I can say is that I’m furious—I’m furious as hell. They everyone wanted justice to be served quickly, including the Carey family and Heidi’s fiancé.
Unfortunately, the COVID-19 epidemic meant that Magen didn’t appear in court until February 2023, at which point she entered a guilty plea to first-degree murder for which she received a 55-year sentence. In her impact statement, Tammy, who has always believed that this crime was planned, told the court, “This is something I never imagined in my whole life that [Heidi’s] children would have to face.” In spite of the anguish, I find comfort in thinking of her. We sincerely miss her. To the best of their abilities, Tammy and Roger David appear to be attempting to move on today in spite of everything. Since then, they have gone back to Lake Charles to bury their daughter.
