After going off in a video that went viral on social media over late NYPD officer Jason Rivera’s funeral procession, Cuban-American actress Jacqueline Guzman was let go by her theater company.
She withdrew the Tik-Tok video after receiving a lot of negative feedback on social media on January 28, 2022.
As the funeral procession caused certain Lower Manhattan streets to be blocked, she came across in her video as being incredibly disrespectful.
Guzman remarked in the TikTok video, “We do not need to close down much of Lower Manhattan because one cop died for likely performing his duty improperly. Every single day, they kill people under the age of 22 without cause, and we don’t shut down the city to stop them.
Actress Jacqueline Guzman fired for the insensitive comments in her NYPD TikTok video
She added, “Like this is f***ing ridiculous. This is f–king ridiculous. What if somebody is having a heart attack in this area. Nobody can get to them because it’s all blocked off for one f***ing cop…”

The 22-year-old police officer Rivera was fatally shot on the job on January 24. The actress added that the late 22-year-old officer “killed for presumably doing his job incorrectly” as police officers marched down the street in memory of the fallen officer.
Guzman was compelled to remove her accounts when angry social media users bombarded the site with criticism of her careless remarks.
@RetiredNYCPD, a user tweeted. It’s very terrible that so many people’s hearts have become so hardened that they have lost all empathy for the family and friends who lose a loved one. I commend the city of New York for giving this police officer a proper send-off. I ask for the return of law and order. All police officers be blessed by God.
She was fired by Face To Face Films, an independent movie production business based in New York. Face To Face Films announced on its official Facebook page that Jacqueline is not connected to their organization and that they have confirmed this:
“Face to Face Films has just been made aware of an insensitive video involving one of our members, Jacqueline Guzman. Face To Face Films does not support nor can condone these comments made about fallen Officer Rivera. As a result, she is no longer a member of our company.”
Who is Jacqueline Guzman?
The actress’ new profile on the Face To Face Films website states that she is originally from Hialeah, Florida and currently resides in New York City, despite the fact that most of her previously accessible internet content has been removed. She became passionate about acting during her high school years.
She was convinced by her friends to try out for the play “Almost Maine.” The American Academy of Dramatic Arts in New York awarded Jacqueline Guzman her diploma.
The actress was quite active on the video-sharing social media site TikTok, but following the event, her account may have been suspended or deleted. Guzman is currently trending as a failed actress on social media.
