John Wick’s worldwide box office collection crosses the $1 billion mark
Yes, it is what you read. The John Wick series has now earned $1 billion in sales. Stars in the series include Lance Reddick, Donnie Yen, Bill Skarsgrd, Ian McShane, Laurence Fishburne, Hiroyuki Sanada, and Shamier Anderson.
There are a total of four films in the John Wick franchise, for those of you who are unaware. In the year 2014, the first John Wick movie debuted. 2017 saw the release of John Wick: Chapter 2, the sequel to the franchise’s first film.
2019 saw the release of the third movie, titled John Wick: Chapter 3 – Parabellum. The fourth John Wick movie, John Wick: Chapter 4, however, debuted this year.

According to a Just Jared analysis, John Wick, the first movie in the now-billion dollar franchise, brought in $87.8 million globally in 2014, while John Wick: Chapter 2 brought in $171.54 million.
With $326.7 million in sales, John Wick Chapter 3 – Parabellum was a huge success. The fourth chapter of John Wick: Chapter 4 has won over enthusiasts. Up to this point, the franchise’s most recent game has generated roughly $425.3 million.

Will ‘John Wick: Chapter 5’ happen in the near future?
Keanu Reeves’ fans undoubtedly want to see him reprise his role as John Wick in a major motion picture, but there is a chance it won’t happen at all.
In a conversation, filmmaker Chad Stahelski noted, “The real question you ask yourself is not, ‘Do I want it?'” Yes, I’d be up for doing it. We simply made an effort to do everything perfectly. We made an effort to lay everything out there, take nothing, and leave everything.
“Like, ‘F—k it, every idea,” he continued. No savings are being made. We’re not looking to construct. Just leave it there with everything you’ve got. We believe John Wick 4 represents the culmination of the cycle, having given everything we had.
Chad said, “We feel like we concluded it. There may be a John Wick: Chapter 5 after all. In light of this, we think, “You know, it was a terrific way to wrap off the previous three films and the fourth and deliver something fulfilling and fun.
“Right now, if you put a gun in my head, you might as well shoot me,” the filmmaker remarked. It’s quite simple to get monotonous. The secret is to combine originality with repetition. How can you claim authorship or agency over something that’s been done three times already?
