The new personal trainer for Josh Brolin appears to be a 1,300-foot sandworm.
After finishing Dune: Part Two filming on Friday, the 54-year-old Oscar contender flaunted his muscles in a shirtless mirror selfie for his Instagram followers.
Brolin captioned the photo with the phrase “Dune did it,” attributing his transformation to the sequel.
Some well-known friends responded in the comments section with supportive remarks for him. “Brother, you’ve done it again. Here, the heat is potent “wrote Mark Ruffalo.
Hell yeah, I say! Added Dave Bautista. Anthony Hopkins made a joke, “Call me if you need a body double,” as Brolin’s wife, Kathryn Boyd, added some fire emojis.

After appearing in the 2021 film adaptation of Frank Herbert’s book by writer/director Denis Villeneuve, Brolin previously told a major online portal that he will be in the follow-up.

Along with Bautista, Timothée Chalamet, Zendaya, Rebecca Ferguson, Stellan Skarsgrd, Charlotte Rampling, and Javier Bardem, the actor is back for Dune: Part Two. Florence Pugh, Austin Butler, Léa Seydoux, and Christopher Walken also appear in the follow-up.
In the follow-up, Paul Atreides (Chalamet, 26) teams up with Chani (Zendaya, also 26) and the Fremen to exact revenge on his family and avert the universe’s doom.
After reading the script, 53-year-old Bardem already hinted at the sequel. He declared, “I was deeply moved by it,” at the Cannes Film Festival in May 2022.
