People can’t wait for the next Jumanji movie to come out. After the huge success of the 1995 remake of Jumanji, Welcome to the Jungle, Jumanji: The Next Level was the last movie in the series. It came out in 2019. Fans are very excited for Dr. Smolder Bravestone and his crew to go on another exciting adventure.
Fans are upset that Madison Iseman, who plays one of the main characters, doesn’t know anything about the fourth movie in the series. Iseman hopes she gets to play Bethany Walker again in the movie, because Jumanji made her life better. When asked what was going on with the movie, she told Cinema Blend,
“Nothing. Tell me if you hear anything. …And Sony picks up the phone and says, “Hey, guys…” I mean, it would be a dream. That series changed my life, and I miss it and everyone who worked on it very much.
Since Jumanji: The Next Level came out almost four years ago, Iseman thinks it’s time for Sony to start making plans for the next movie. The actress is just waiting to hear about her next movie, and she says she’d love to do another one. She told me,
“And it’s one of the best things that’s ever happened to me. It’s about time to see it again. It’s time, I think. I’d love to do it again any time. People can call me.”
Several news sources have confirmed that Jumanji 4 is now being made, but the main actors in the film have no idea what’s going on.
Speculations and Conflicts
In 2021, film producer Hiram Garcia said that work on Jumanji 4 would begin as soon as they finished making Red One. Since Red One is coming out later this year, it seems likely that Jumanji 4 will start being made soon. There is no set date for when they will start filming, but the movie probably won’t come out until 2024 at the earliest.
There are other things to consider, but I think the main reason was that all of the actors in the movie seemed to have a lot going on. The main cast had schedules that didn’t work with each other, so the production had to stop. Karen Gillan told THR in 2022 that it will happen, but she doesn’t know when filming will start.
