The film earned mixed reviews from critics despite strong performances from the main characters.

I Do, I Do, I Do (2015)

Autumn Reeser, Ali Liebert, and Shawn Roberts star in the fantasy romance comedy directed by Ron Oliver and written by Nancey Silvers. The plot of the film follows an architect named Jaclyn Palmer (Reeser) as she becomes trapped in a time loop. Jaclyn is compelled to experience one single day in her life over and over again, just like Mark and Margaret in ‘The Map of Tiny Perfect Things,’ and this day is her tragic wedding day. The cycle will continue to afflict her until she discovers what she truly desires in life.

If Only (2004)

The romantic fantasy film directed by Gil Junger about Ian Wyndham (Paul Nicholls), an English businessman who lives in London with his American musician girlfriend Samantha Andrews (Jennifer Love Hewitt). ‘If Only’ and ‘The Map of Tiny Perfect Things’ both have a time loop with a love theme. Samantha is killed in a car accident after a lover’s spat. Ian goes to their shared apartment, dejected, only to hear Sam’s voice. Ian comes to the conclusion that the previous day’s events were a dream. As the story progresses, Ian knows that the “dream” scenario will be repeated, and Sam will die by the end of the day.
