Power Book II: Season 3 Release Date, New Cast, Plot & Other Major Details

According to Jeffrey Hirsch, president and chief executive officer of Starz, “the Power universe’s sustained success and cultural relevance are unprecedented, and fans are obviously still hungry for more Power Book II: Ghost.”

We can’t wait for the third season of the acclaimed series to begin filming in the early part of 2019 before the release of Power Book IV: Force, the fourth entry in the rapidly growing franchise.

Power Book II: Ghost season 3 potential release date: when will it air?


Sadly, there is still no official release date for Ghost season three as of May 2022. But because the third episode of the series is confirmed to air in December 2021, at least we know it’s coming.

Despite there being no official confirmation of the production’s current state, it is thought that filming began in February 2022.

Given this, it appears likely that the season will premiere in November, following the schedule of season 2. When we have more concrete information, we’ll let you know!

Keesha Sharp, the star of Lethal Weapon, will appear in season three as a recurring character in a significant role. Professor Harper Bonet, “a progressive academic and bohemian beauty,” will be portrayed by Sharp (via Deadline). We might anticipate hearing additional cast announcements as production picks up.

Gbenga Akinnagbe, Kyle Vincent Terry, and Caroline Chikezie were three other actors that had been added to the cast list, according to a March Deadline article.

After the shocking conclusion of season two, Monet will undoubtedly learn that her husband Lorenzo Tejada (Berto Colon) mistakenly killed her son Zeke.

Tariq, who initially wanted out of the drug business after killing Professor Jabari Reynolds (Justin McManus), has opted to stick around and take over as the new connect now that Mecca has disappeared.


On the other hand, Brayden betrayed Tariq when he set up his college girlfriend Lauren, whose body was discovered after a car accident. Brayden had previously saved Tariq from a life in prison after confessing to being the student selling drugs on campus and revealing himself as the CEO of their drug peddling app Course Correct.

The NYPD detective Blanca Rodriguez (Monique Gabriela Curnen), who was revealed to be the officer assigned to confidential informant Mecca, made a surprise appearance in the finale. As she looks into Mecca’s shooting, Blanca’s return is bound to cause Tariq significant problems because she is holding a blurry photo of him.

Cooper Saxe teaming up with Prosecutor Jenny Sullivan (Paton Ashbrook) to reveal Davis MacLean’s shady legal tactics will also help season three pick up steam. In the meantime, MacLean is attempting to have his brother Theo Rollins released from prison after being wrongfully convicted of a murder.
