We Have Always Lived In The Castle

We Have Always Lived in the Castle is another example of how classic mystery books can be turned into incredibly good psychological thrillers on the big screen. The 2018 film, directed by Stacie Passon, is based on Shirley Jackson’s 1962 novel of the same name. It was the author’s final work before her death, and it relates the storey of a family of two sisters and their uncle who are shunned by their town when the girls’ parents are poisoned with arsenic.
