The winner of the title of Miss Netherlands 2023 is Rikkie Valerie Kollé! On July 8, 2023, she just became the first transgender model to receive the prestigious award. She posted a picture of herself smiling on Instagram shortly after winning.
She began with the words “I DID IT!!!!! ” I can now introduce myself as @missnederland 2023, which is surreal. My year can no longer be ruined because of the instructive and wonderful journey. I can’t even begin to express how pleased and delighted I am. Making my community proud and demonstrating that it is possible.
The Miss Netherlands 2023 said, “And yeah, I’m trans, and I want to tell my narrative. But what important to me is that I’m also Rikkie. I completed this on my own and thoroughly enjoyed it.
“This is only the beginning,” the model continued, thanking the jury and the entire Miss Netherlands team for their confidence. We each put on a performance, my lovely co-finalists; I love you all, gals.You guys in the hall, my dear family and friends, my N1 supporters, gave me so much more strength. Wherever you are in the world, I want to be there for you and serve as the role model I didn’t have as a child.
Who is Rikkie Valerie Kollé?
For those of you who are unaware, let us inform you that Rikkie Valerie Kollé is a native of Breda who aspires to represent the gay community and serve as a role model. She is supposedly 22 years old at this time. Her precise birth date is unknown, though.
Kollé is the first trans woman to be crowned Miss Netherlands as a result of her victory as Miss Netherlands 2023. She is now the second woman after the Spanish contestant Angela Ponce to compete in the Miss Universe pageant.
The model has something in the neighbourhood of 30k Instagram followers as of this writing. She describes herself as “Miss Universe Netherlands 2023, Model | Actress, Dutch | Moluccan.” on her Instagram bio.
