Ronald Isley is an American singer, songwriter, record producer, and infrequent actor. Isley is best known as the lead singer and original member of the family music group the Isley Brothers. Like many of his siblings, Ronald began his professional life in the church. Isley began singing at the age of two, and at the Union Baptist Church’s spiritual competition, he was awarded a $25 war bond for his performance. At seven, Isley and a few other famous people went on stage at the Regal Theater in Chicago to perform.
