We have an accurate understanding of how romantic relationships are never as simple as they seem thanks to Netflix’s “The Ultimatum: Marry or Move On,” which lives up to its title in every manner possible. After all, the core of this original series centres on a collection of nuanced people who are trying to make sense of the fork in the road that they have reached in order to achieve stable families in the future. In season 2, Roxanne Kaiser and Antonio Mattei were among them; therefore, if you’re just interested in knowing more about them and their present situation, we have the information you need.
Roxanne and Antonio’s The Ultimatum Journey
Antonio felt Roxanne was much more than anyone thought she was and that she might make a good “wife” for him from the moment they first laid eyes on each other. Years later, after reconnecting on social media, he was able to communicate exactly the same thing, but only after realising that their shared love was insufficient. Since they had been dating intermittently, he was also aware that they had some problems by the time of their fourth anniversary, but he sincerely believed they could resolve their differences.
Though she acknowledged her love and affection for him, Antonio had no idea that the 31-year-old ambitious and career-focused woman was not thinking about getting married. This is mainly because Roxanne always saw herself with a life partner whose financial situation, business savvy, and general aspirations aligned, and he fell short of all of her expectations. There was also the element of genuine respect; although the 30-year-old goods broker didn’t think so at first, several of their exchanges suggested she felt superior to him.
However, Antonio made it clear that while he really appreciated her ambition, he also expected her to take the initiative to strengthen their relationship by giving him more attention or speaking up about how she felt. So he issued the ultimatum, hoping that by making her feel under strain, she would actually come to appreciate the seriousness of both his proposal and marriage in general. Essentially, he wanted her to understand that their relationship would not diminish her freedom but rather aid her going forward, something that her brief marriage to Alex Chapman did contribute to.
Roxanne said early on, “I love Antonio, but I had a lot of high expectations.” “I want someone who is ambitious and puts in a lot of work, and Antonio isn’t that person. He is aware of my intense attention on my work, so I’m not sure why I would put marriage in the middle of everything being going well. However, after making a concerted effort to advance his career, he ultimately declared that, even though he knew their union wouldn’t exactly be reciprocated, he would still be her champion if they got married. He declared, “I would always go above and beyond for you.” “attempting to do the right thing when I wake up in the morning.”
Roxanne and Antonio Are Happily Together
Although Roxanne, 31, stated she doesn’t think she could ever claim to be Antonio’s champion at every turn in life, she did admit that she felt she would make a fantastic wife in general. The owner of Pasted Nip claimed to be compassionate. It seems like I prioritise other people before myself. I feel like I’ll put [Antonio] first because that’s my nature, he said, and you’d be considerate. For all those reasons, I would make a terrific husband since you would be considering our future as a family. Thus, even though she was unsure of her decision until the very end, she accepted Antonio’s proposal.

Unfortunately, though, according to Roxanne and Antonio’s own accounts during the reunion special, she removed his ring the next day because it was too big and too soon for her. “I’m not getting married soon. The entrepreneur, who was clearly flustered and anxious, subsequently told People, “I am moving very slowly.” “I’m having trouble with that portion. It will take place. All I need is a little time. In actuality, her partner not only had the ring resized but also gifted her a pair of exquisite partnering bands. Despite her insistence that they are still engaged, she has never worn any of them.
However, it should be noted that Antonio went on to create a vehicle company in order to become the kind of man his partner has always desired, so it appears that they are still progressively coming to an understanding. He recently said, “I’m not even close to the person that I was when I was on that show to who I am today.” Hearing everyone criticise everything on the show was a major factor in starting the fire inside of me. At some point, I told myself it was time to stop making excuses and get my act together. That is just what I did, then.

Regarding their relationship, Antonio remarked, “I couldn’t be happier; life is so good.” Never in my life have I felt more certain that I’m headed in the correct direction. In my relationship, I’m really content. Roxanne is an amazing companion. I’ve never felt more confident about anything before, and we really bring out the best in each other,” Roxanne continued. “Oh my gosh, I’m so happy.” I have no regrets. If “The Ultimatum” hadn’t happened, I would not be in this situation now. Our families are more intimate. I’m closer to Antonio. It’s been fantastic.
