Jackson Lamb, the adept spymaster exiled to Slough House but still as capable as ever, is portrayed by Gary Oldman in Slow Horses, even though his appearance and demeanour may not always suggest it. Oldman, an Oscar-winning actor best known for his roles in The Professional, The Dark Knight, and The Darkest Hour, also has a part in Oppenheimer, one of the most anticipated films of 2023.
