From IBLP to New Beginnings: Where Are the Ex-IBLP Members Now?

Shiny Happy People: Duggar Family Secrets on Prime Video is a four-part docuseries that, in every manner imaginable, lives up to its title. It is at once riveting and unsettling. This is due to the fact that it uses both original interviews and old film to highlight the negative aspects of the once-popular family on TLC’s Institute in Basic Life Principles (IBLP). Several former members of this cult-like sect were among individuals who were thus highlighted; if you’d just like to know more about their current situation, we’ve got you covered.

According to Brooke’s own claims, she was nurtured under the fundamentalist ist flag of the IBLP starting at the tender age of seven and managed to flee its thorns when she was 17 years old. She was forced to figure out how to live in the actual, natural world on her own as a result, which led her to move to New York and gradually develop into a writer, researcher, and stand-up comic.

By the time late 2022 arrived, though, Brooke had come to the conclusion that it was time to live out her long-held ambition of touring every state in a camper with her dog Arthur. In other words, the “professor” is essentially a nomad these days, but she manages to support herself effectively by being active on online platforms. She does live sessions, is a TikToker, offers free coaching to others like her, and plans to start a podcast soon.

Where is Lindsey Williams Now?

Despite the fact that Lindsey’s experiences with IBLP were horrifying as a result of the claimed harassment she endured there, it seems as though she has since been able to establish a successful independent life for herself. In fact, in addition to being the proud owner of CrazyPretty Workshops, the makeup artist, hairstylist, and licenced cosmetologist (Paul Mitchell Academy) also co-founded The Makeup Standard. Additionally, the Los Angeles resident continues to work for up-and-coming clients as well as well-known businesses or media while co-hosting the “We Speak Beauty” podcast with mentor Lottie.

Floyd and Tara blissfully married in 2005 as devoted IBLP members, but circumstances quickly changed after the birth of their baby on August 6, 2007. He started drinking, which even caused them to split up for a while, as she realised that she had been subjected to a great deal of humiliation from childhood and was in survival mode due to health problems (strokes).

However, from what we can gather, the couple was able to quickly get back together, permanently leave the cult, concentrate on figuring out what worked for them, and are currently leading happy lives in Florida as a single unit. These days, their top concerns are simply protecting Floyd’s mental health, battling Tara’s multiple illnesses and disorders, providing for their autistic son’s general wellbeing, and fighting for the same.
