The Tourist and The Responder programmes nearly lost ground to the first episode of SAS Rogue Heroes on BBC iPlayer in terms of feedback. So it comes as no surprise that the historical drama has been renewed by the BBC for a second season.
The SAS Rogue television series was based on the Special Air Services (SAS) and its World War II battles. Dabi Stirling, a strong leader with equally strong men and recruits, is the focus of the story. The show’s first season was insane, and the second season could be even more dramatic. SAS Rogue Heroes Season 2 Plot
The second season of the SAS Rogue television show will take place in continental Europe, and the plot will be altered. David Stirling, better known as the Phantom manager, is captured and jailed in 1943. He makes an insufficient number of attempts to escape, and is then led to one of the safest spots in the Colditz castle. Paddy Mayne then takes over as Commander after Stirling. On the Italian peninsula, Mayne’s invasion of Sicily will be the main topic of the second season. Since SAS indicated that the combat fighting in Italy had to be the most intense encounters they have ever heard, we anticipate that the second season of the show will feature the combats.
SAS Rogue Heroes Season 2 Cast
The Rogue series would not be the same without Connor Swindells (Sex Education) and Jack O’Connell, and we believe that both performers will return for the second season. Swindells and O’Connell respectively play Paddy Mayne and David Stirling. Additional cast members that are most likely to return in the second season include Dominic West (Brassic), Theo Barlem, Bobby Schofield, Jacob Ifan, and Tom Glynn (Domina).

Unfortunately, a second season trailer for SAS Rogue Heroes won’t be released any time soon. Season One of the show was only recently renewed, and we still don’t know when Season 2’s filming will begin.
