The Night Agent Renewed for Season 2 on Netflix
The second season was confirmed by Netflix on March 29, less than a week after the first episode aired on March 23. As with the first season, there will be ten episodes in the next one. But Netflix has not yet said when the second season will be available.
Shawn Ryan, the creator and showrunner of the series, said in a statement, “The last week has been a whirlwind since we’ve finally been able to show The Night Agent to the world.”

The Night Agent was Watched for 168.7 Million Hours in the First Few Days
The show was watched for 168.7 million hours in its first week, making it the third-best Season 1 of any Netflix original show. The show was also in the top 10 in 93 different countries.

The Night Agent is based on Matthew Quirk’s 2019 book of the same name. The plot summary for the series says, “FBI Agent Peter Sutherland gets caught up in a huge plot involving a mole in the highest levels of the U.S. government.”
“To save the country, Peter goes on a desperate hunt for the traitor while working with the scared ex-CEO Rose Larkin and protecting her from the people who killed her aunt and uncle.”
