Alia and Ranbir To Take A Voluntarily Cut In Their Salaries For Brahmastra

The lead actors of Hindi cinema producer and director Karan Johar’s film ‘Brahmastra’, Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor and the director of the movie Ayan Mukherjee have decided to voluntarily cut their salaries. The shooting for Brahmastra, like the rest of the films, has been stalled due to the lock-down caused by the corona virus. Due to the delayed shooting of the film, Karan Johar had to revisit the budget of the film.

The budget for this film of the Dharma Productions being made for Disney India is increasing every day due to stalled shooting. Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt are aware of the ground reality and so is Ayan Mukerji. Therefore, all of them have collectively decided to voluntarily cut their salaries.

However, according to sources, Dharma Productions might consider giving them some share of the revenue if the film is successful. Now how much will be given to them, no information has been disclosed yet. According to information received from sources, the completion of the film requires 40 more days of shooting.
